Re: [Dspace-tech] FW: Dspace 1.5.2, xmlui and "Browse by"

2010-09-28 Thread Sobieralski, Damian Michael
Someone replied to me via email suggesting messages.xml. So I thought that I'd
share the solution w/ the list for the next person w/ this question.

I needed:

Browse {0} by
YYY {1}

It was just:

Browse by
YYY

The odd thing was, some weird caching was happening where even after a Tomcat
restart (and w/ my new messages.xml in place) it was still showing the old
value. But eventually it uhhh...fixed itself.

Re: [Dspace-tech] FW: Dspace 1.5.2, xmlui and "Browse by"

2010-09-27 Thread Claudia Jürgen
Hello,

did you enter your field to be rendered as link in the itemlist?

See dspace.cfg section:

# which fields should link to other browse listings. This should associated
# the name of one of the above browse indices with a metadata field listed
# in above. The form is:
#
# webui.browse.link. = :

Per default only dc.contributor.* is used:

webui.browse.link.1 = author:dc.contributor.*

Hope that helps

Claudia Jürgen
