UR=WA6YTD will route your bit stream to the last repeater that WA6YTD was on 
that your gateway knows about.  If they just switched gateways (and sometimes, 
just repeaters on a gateway although less likely), there can be significant 
delays before remote gateways get updated.

A bit different for you there Steve, as even though you are routing, 
your packets are still passed through dplus to the other links as well, 
as your own gateway is still linked to REF001.
In my case when I link to REF001, I only have routing to get the audio 
back as dplus wont wont pass my stream(have told the story a hundred+ 
times so wont reinterate).

Anyhow to try it properly unlink K5CTX B(eg), and connect to REF001
with DVTool(dvdongle). Then try routing to a gateway linked to REF001 
and see if you hear yourself on DVTool.
In the past for me it always worked, which I would use sometimes to test 
before routing with the dstar radio, but now does not get through, 
tested recently.

I'm wondering if Dplus users around the world can try some things out for me?
Can you try to link your gateway modules to REF003, on any/all reflector 
modules and see if you can successfully link.
Can you also please try to Dplus link to VK5RWN C?

Haven't tried with a gateway, but I was able to use my DV Dongle on 
REF003  C yesterday.  Wasn't any activity, I know VK3RWN C wasn't 
linked there (it was linked to REF001 I think).

Not home today, and haven't got the D-STAR radio with me, so I can't 
test over RF until later. :(

I linked our repeater W8SHI to your REF003C and linked with no problem.  Also I 
linked directly to your repeater VK5RWN C and had no problem.

Instead of just assuming that they've been blacklisted, maybe something has 
happened with some of the repeaters in Germany that has caused some issues with 
the databases. From what I've heard, they are switching their gateways back and 
forth between trust servers, maybe the records are getting messed up.

So how can someone who was never on D-STAR get blacklisted. If they've never 
been on D-STAR, then I think that there problem would be more akin to them not 
being registered.

Blacklisting is a by gateway setting, not a system wide setting.  He would have 
to ask the gateway sysop where he has been blacklisted why that was set.

Just for fun I went and looked on W0CDS, and DM5LW is NOT
blacklisted on our local US Trust Server served G2 Icom Gateway,
and he is registered on DM0HMB.

Of course, the design of the G2 system would let ME do it, as a
Gateway admin -- which is horrendously wrong... but whatever.

Here's hoping some rogue Gateway Admin doesn't go nuts with the
blacklist checkboxes someday... or that there's a hidden way us
regular level Admins can't see to override such silliness...

No, I did not test it, but since blacklist_flg is kept in the unsync_mng table 
which is not sync'ed, I don't know how one gateway could pass that status to 
another.  I'm pretty sure I read it somewhere in the Icom instructions as well.
