Hi all ! Today I got a confirmation from CML that the first batch of CMX589AP4 chips have been sent to me, and should be here on Monday or so. Hurray!
It seems that I "took" their entire stock of PDIP-packaged chips, haha, and now they have to make new ones for the rest of the order... As soon as they arrive, I'll start sending out orders, oldest ones first, and first the CMX589-only ones, as the AMBE's have not arrived yet. Meanwhile... people are still ordering (if you recognize the reply "Yes, you're a lil late, indeed", then you're one of them ;-) so I managed to convince CML to increase my order again, at the same price. That was the last 'change' they'd let me do, though. So... the first chips should land safely about this time next week, get the irons hot'n'ready!
