I'll take this opportunity for a crass commercial announcement, especially for
the new list members...
ARVN has DVDs of the Dayton D-STAR forums in 2008, 2009 and (as soon as I get
them edited) 2010. Each has useful information tracking D-STAR's background,
technology and progress. The 2008 DVD is especially entertaining. Jim N5MIJ put
on a great show Friday night, presenting a lot of history and introducing many
of the hams who have been instrumental in D-STAR's early development.
