INDONESIA 3976.4 Radio Republik Indonesia, Pontianak (Borneo). 1350, June 01. Two YL's talking in Indonesian mentioning Borneo once. Song at 1355 and Interval Signal 30 seconds before 1400 UTC (note: this was not the typical IS of Indonesian stations (RRI) but it was just a very short melody played in a sort of acoustic guitar) then "Radio Republik Indonesia". A female speaker also clearly identified the station as "Radio Republik of Indonesia, Pontianak" with "Aida" of Verdi playing on background. 34433 4753.4 Radio Republik Indonesia, Makassar (Sulawesi). 1310, June 01. OM in Indonesian interviewing another OM by phone mentioning Indonesia and Sulawesi. You may have heard Radio Cancao Nova, of Cachoeira Paulista, Brazil, relayed by way of Radio Gazeta, of Sao Paulo. On yesterday's Alem fronteiras program, Beyond frontiers, there was a brief mention to this effect. This station is a good verifier. Toisena iltana keli muistutti hyvin paljon Es-keliä, tosin skippi oli normaalia Es-keliä lyhyempi tuoden asemia mm. Pohjois-Saksasta ja Berliinin seudulta (etelä-Suomessa myös Tanskasta). Toisena iltana keli veti Islantiin mutta silloin signaalit olivat jo hiukan enemmän aurora-tyyppiset. Eli kuten Jari jo totesi sanoisin että kyseessä on jonkinlainen sekakeli, joka eroaa Es-keleistä lyhempien skippien ja hiukan enemmän auroraa muistuttavien signaalien suhteen. Siis 29.5. kelin huomasin, ja menettelin perinteisen ohjeen mukaisesti. Suuntasin antennin pohjoiseen, vaan signaali heikkeni, eikä vahvistunut, kuten aurora-kelistä on vakuutettu. Ruotsalaiset kuuluivat parhaiten lännen suunnasta, kuten Es:llä (jolloin ruotsalaiset tosin ovat suurharvinaisuuksia paitsi aivan eteläisimmät). Tuohon kiinnitin minäkin huomiota. Kelihän oli kai tyypillistä auroraa? Täällä Pirkkalassa kuuluvissa olivat mm. vanhat tutut Gdanskin "superasemat" Radio Plus 101,7 ja Radio Zet 105,0 (samasta mastosta 120kW). Ja signaalit eivät todellakaan tulleet pohjoisesta vaan parhaiten juuri asemien suunnasta eli lounaasta. Olen auroralla aika vähän kuunnellut, mutta aiemminkaan signaalit eivät mielestäni ole kuuluneet parhaiten pohjoiset tai luoteen suunnalta. Missä siis mättää, onko ohjeituksessa vikaa? Mikä tämä aurora-Es oikeastaan on, aurora vai Es? Vai molempia jotenkin sekaisin? Minusta tuo 29.5. vaikutti enemmän auroralta. Sinkku oli tasainen, mutta rupuinen ja töhryinen A-indeksin heiluessa 30 tienoilla. Ymmärtääkseni tuo oli auroraa. Väliaikatietona kaikille FM-bongaajille: Radio Elvi aloitti lähetyksen sunnuntai-iltana 1.6. klo 19 jälkeen eli asema on nyt äänessä perjantaihin keskiyöhön saakka. Kuuluvuus Paltamossa erinomainen pienestä tehosta huolimatta. Kaikki vaan raportoimaan asemaa. Aseman "studiossa" voi myös vierailla, jos olette ohikulkumatkalla Kainuussa. I couldn't understand the ID on this station. It sounded like the OM announcers were speaking in SP or PG. There were repeated mentions of "Dios" Freq: 15325, Time: 1515-1539 Z on 05/31/03. There was what sounded like inspirational music between vocal segments. Does anyone have any ideas? The signal strength was fair. [DX] Jukola 2003 -asema 100.0 MHz 14-15.6.2003
Moi! Jukolan Viestin kisakuulutus -rele toimii Sulkavalla 14-15.6. taajuudella 100.0 MHz. Lähettimellä on tehoa 20 W ja antennin korkeus maanpinnasta on 10 m ja merenpinnasta 95 m. Antenni on mäkien ympäröimässä kilpailukeskuksessa n. 1 km Sulkavan keskustasta pohjoiseen. Asennustesteissä asema oli kuitenkin kuulunut pohjoisessa eli mäkisimmässä suunnassa vielä 17 km päässäkin joskin "suhinalla". Sulkavalta kaakkoon on järvialuetta eli sillä suunnalla kuuluvuussäde voisi olla huomattavasti pitempikin? Taajuutta käytetään ainakin kenraaliharjoituksessa ke 11.6. klo 16-21 SKA ja itse kisaviikonloppuna la 14.6. klo 10 - su 15.6. klo 16. Ajoissa voi olla tunnin parin heittoa suuntaan tai toiseen.
