Iranin tutka kuului viimeeksi 10.11. taajuudella 28,860 MHz +/- 30 kHz.
Kiinalainen tutka lähettää 40 kHz leveydellä usein 14,3 kHz:n tuntumassa.

Venäläiset tutkat ovat olleet viime aikoina vähemmän toiminnassa.

GPS satelliitin häirintään Lapissa tarvittiin noin 10 km:n korkeudella
Murmanskin yläpuolella vain muutama kymmenen wattia säteilytehoa.

** CANADA. 15034-USB, Nov 12 at 1425 UT, ``No report received`` from 
Cold Lake, Edmonton, Winnipeg; at 1426 UT, Trenton Military timecheck 
as now ``1325``, then some successful aviation weather reports 
timedated 1400. Something`s always wrong at CHR. One can only hope 
their weather statistics, when they have any, are more accurate (Glenn 
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 15370, Nov 11 at 2056, RHC reactivated here for European 
service in French at 2030, Portuguese 2100, Arabic 2130-2200. Arnie`s 
sked shows 100 kW, 10 degrees from Bauta site, which is not really 
right toward Europe but up the east coast of North America. This and 
15140 in English are the SSOB (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 9720, Nov 12 at 0022 check, RHC English on new frequency, 
first time heard, during `DXers Unlimited`. // 5040. Later on Nov 12, 
Wolfgang Bueschel got a revised B-18 sked, showing this transmission 
moved *two hours earlier*, which certainly makes sense for an audience 
in Africa: English at 22-23, after French & Portuguese at 21-22. And 
so confirmed English at 2257 check --- but also English again at 0029 
check Nov 13, so maybe at both times temporarily for transition (Glenn 
Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1956, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 6180, Nov 12 at 0656, RHC English is here at S9+20 but JBM! 
This is the new CRI relay frequency I previously discovered, but 
supposed to be running only at 01-03. Now, RHC is missing from 6000, 
so maybe that`s the transmitter on 6180 by mistake? The rest of RHC 
English at 0656: 6060 loud and splattering, 6100 very weak, 6165 good 
at S9+10, 5040 off. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, 
DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. 9640, Nov 12 at 1510, another reactivated RHC Spanish 
frequency, S9+10/20, quite stronger than // 9535. Yet per Arnie`ssked, 
this is one of the weakest transmitters, only 50 kW, 110 degrees from 
Bejucal for Antillas, at 12-16 and 22-05. While 9535 is 100 kW, 230 
degrees from Bejucal for Central America (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX 
LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA [and non]. 13728.304, Nov 12 at 1517, weak music and talk spur 
// 13700 modulation, so is there a matching one 28.304 kHz on the 
opposite side? Yes! on 13671.696. Something`s always wrong at RHC, but 
this is different, not like the panoply of strong FM spurs all over 
the band which used to come out of 13700-AM. The lower one hets 
something weak on 13670 in French, i.e. CRI via ALBANIA to W Africa 
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 1956, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** FRANCE [non]. 5950, Nov 12 at 0655, RFI English is still here on 
WRMI from WRN, but RFI will stop producing English in the mornings 
from Nov 18, as Mike Cooper heard them announce, apparently leaving 
only the 1400 broadcast; what then to be heard at 0600? And, after am 
Ian ID at 0659, Nov 12 at 0700, 5950 goes into RFI Spanish, definitely 
not Portuguese as on the WRMI skedgrid when last checked; as I write 
it doesn`t want to load, maybe down for editing. Before 0700 WRMI is 
presumably getting RFI from WRN, but not after 0700 replacing WRN feed 
which is DW in English as previously heard (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX 
LISTENING DIGEST)

** NIGERIA [and non]. 9689.9, Nov 11 at 2052, VON is back on here 
causing LAH to SPAIN 9690.0, unlike hetlessness yesterday, until VON 
goes off at 2101:45* clearing REE for its silly ballgame coverage 
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** TURKEY [and non]. 11815.0, Nov 12 at 1409, TRT Turkish on-frequency 
today, only a SAH apart from Japan which is slightly weaker. OTOH,

12035.7, Nov 12 at 1414, TRT English is the one way off-frequency, 
poor (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. WORLD OF RADIO 1955 monitoring: confirmed by Ivo Ivanov,

Also confirmed Sun Nov 11 at 2230 on WRMI 9955, good S9+10 and no 
jamming. 

Also confirmed UT Monday November 12 at 0230 on WRMI 5950, S9+10 and 
undermodulated, lite pulse jamming since WRMI had Radio Martí on there 
for a while; then it was WRN with WOR, now it`s not via WRN, but WRMI 
itself and also on NEW // 9395, both of which are now carrying Radio 
Tirana, Albania in English the other six nights of the week, if they 
can get their program to WRMI.

WOR 1955 also confirmed on Area 51 webcast just as it finishes at 0429 
UT Monday Nov 12, while WBCQ 5130v had been inaudible; 9955 WRMI 
before 0430 is poor with music, but after 0430 WOR confirmed on its 
webcast (which BTW now continues at 0500 with Israel Radio via WRN, 
which should also still be on SW WRMI 5950: 0527 plugging the Kan/Reqa 
app.)

A fast search using the KIwi SDR in jakarta used with a tablet that freezes 
very easily.

There was quran program  heard in the first 2-3 frqs 

Day freqs are plus on the above  on 0630  JT (2330 Z )

Same time 9835 RTM Sarawak was quite poor at S4 max while 11665 wsas covered by

There is always a VOA/RFA difference between IBB data to the public,

2030 UT VOA Korean purged the HFCC requested Tinian site 9800 kHz,
but brought instead 9800 even fq under Tinang The Philippines realy site
use. S=7 signal not much strong in Seoul though.

7465even kHz S=9+35dB in Seoul SDR at 2045 UT on Nov 12.

9975.006 kHz VOA Udorn Thani Thailand site S=9+40dB powerful in Seoul Korea.

But RFA Korean entries show still all 3 as Tinian relay site

just prompted me to check in particular the frequencies for RFA Korean: Here
in Europe no trace of any carriers on 5885, 9590 and 9985. Which still not
means that they are completely off air, still having mediumwave (now the
FEBC HLKX transmitter in Seoul/Incheon area), in 2017 described as their
most important frequency.

The list below corects all eroneous QRGs  of the previous mesage with some 
interesting additions not writen that time   .
It was  typed  under stress and high hurry due to hasting  family reasons  just 
typing the text exactly as was writen in paper. Please acept my apologies  

Fast search using the KIwi SDR in Jakarta INS  on 2030Z (0330JT 
Monitored with a tablet that freezes regularly by its system: 
673  720  774 1026 1044 1089 1332 1440 1476 1512 1530 1593( CRI  ) 
[out of 773 adn 1592] 
756(8) 999(8)  and app1750 (mix prodcut ) are the strongest  signals that time 
presumably from nearby jakarta (Cimmangis?)
There was quran program  heard 673 and 720 that time remain were with either 
talks or songs/music 
ADD : 3325 has been heard with VoIns  French with S10 

Day freqs addiitons on  0630  JT (2330 Z ) 
594 612  693 792 837 856 900  +1241(add) 1368 1413  
576 (10)  and 630(8) are the strongerst signals together ith 756 & 999 as above
[out of 579  611  ]
Same time 9835 RTM Sarawak was quite poor at S4 max QRM 9840 VoVietnam S10+ 
11665 was covered by another station around S20  [unnoticed info]

Noista tutka-jutuista tuli mieleen häiriötapauksia vuonna 1982.Käytimme tuulen 
mittauksissa luotauksissa Omega-navigointiasemia VLF-taajuusalueelta,10-14 kHz 
Sodankylässä noin 15 vuotta.(80-90-luvuilla)

Normaalisti kaikki 8 asemaa kuuluivat aivan mukavasti.
OMEGA asemat, Norja, Liberia,Hawaii,North Dakota,La Reunion, Argentina, 
Australia ja Japani 
Tosin Australia oli lähes käyttäkelvoton,kun signaali tuuppasi tulemaan välillä 
väärää kautta maapallon ympäri vastaanottimiin.Norja oli taas liian lähellä 
joten sekin tipautettiin välillä pois.

Vuonna 1982 asemia häirittiin aikalailla lyhyitä pätkiä päivittäin  10-15 
minuuttia kerrallaan.Häiriö oli niin voimakas,että kaikki signaalit "hukkuivat" 
Norjaa myöten kuulumattomiin.
Lehtorannan Väiski pohdiskeli,että veli venäläisten yli horisontin tutka/tutkat 
sen sai aikaan.

Muistan kyllä vieläkin,kun Mauri-myrskyn aamuna olin luotaamassa ja niinpä taas 
napsahti häiriölähetin päälle 5-10 min sondin lähetyksen 
jälkeen.Mielenkiintoista tuulimateriaalia jäi saamatta,mutta mitäpä siitä.
 Tuskin noista häiriöistä venäläisiltä mitään kyseltiin.
Väiskille aina laitoin raportin milloin niitä sattui,samoin Omega-asemia 
rekisteröidessä usein huomasi SID-ilmiön eli kun auringon maahan näkyvässä 
osassa tapahtuu soihtupurkaus, sen sähkömagneettinen vaikutus tuntuu meillä jo 
8 minuutin kuluttua ja se voi aiheuttaa ionosfäärissä äkillisen (10-60 min.) 
häiriön (SID, Sudden Ionospheric Disturbance), joka vaikuttaa koko HF-alueella. 
BTW.Itse olen ollut eläkkeellä jo yli 10 vuotta,mutta jos joku on menossa 
joskus katselemaan Sodankylän tutkimuslaitosten touhua,niin ehkä suosittelen

Lappi taitaa tässä kuulua ns. alakatveeseen, eli signaali hyppää joka 
tapauksessa ylitse. OTHR käyttää melko korkeita taajuusalueita, yleensä muutama 
MHz MUF´fin alapuolella, jolloin saadaan voimakkain heijastus. 

Antennit ovat toki suuria ja niin lähetintehokin, mutta suhteellisen suppealle 
taajuusalueelle kuitenkin. Tuskin tämä matalammille alueille häiriöitä 
aiheuttaa, tekniikkahan on mennyt hieman eteenpäin sitten Chernobylin aikojen 
(DUGA 2 ja 3). Ko. aikaan "tikan" lähete yritettiin jostain syystä piilottaa 
amatöörialueille ja aiheutti siellä melkoisia häiriöitä. Tilaahan toki 
tyhjenevillä SW-alueilla olisi vaikka millä mitalla.

Internetin tietojen mukaan ainakin nuo vanhemmat Voronetzh-tutkat ovat 
VHF/UHF-alueiden tutkia, eivät siis lyhytaaltoja käyttäviä OTHR-laitteita. 
OTHR-ominaisuuksia käyttää järjestelmä nimeltä Container (Kontainer) ja sen 
havaitut taajuudet ovat 9-20 MHz. BC-alueiden ulkopuolellahan näitä näkee 
jatkuvasti ja lisääntyvässä määrin.

MW fast search  in Jakarta  on  2030Z (0330JT) on 11/11

A fast search using the KIwi SDR in jakarta used with a tablet that freezes 
very easily.

There was quran program  heard in the first 2-3 frqs 

Day freqs are plus on the above  on 0630  JT (2330 Z )

All freqs without parentheses show signals below S5. 

Same time 9835 RTM Sarawak was quite poor at S4 max while 11665 wsas covered by 
another station.
