[DXR] Question

2001-04-27 Thread Tomek SP5UAF

Hello,

A friend of mine is going to be on business trip to Algeria. It is not sure
now but... who knows. Perhaps somebody knows what is the possiblility to do
some HAM operating from 7X or to receive a HAM license there.
I have not been able to find any info on the Internet so far so perhaps it
is not easy to get 7X license.

Any help is very appreciated

[DXR] HK3JJH Malpelo and 75 meters

2001-04-27 Thread Jim Reisert

Has anyone in the USA worked Pedro on 75 meters lately (i.e. this past week)?

I tried to get him to move from 20 - 75 the other night, but there was enough
QRM on the frequency (and he was weaker than usual) that I didn't understand
his reason for not being able to move (sounded like no conditions).

He has NOT been that strong on 40, at least compared to when he was there a
year or so ago. The times he has been spotted on 75, he was barely readable.

75 (and 30) are my last bands for Malpelo.

Thanks 73 - Jim AD1C
