Come to think of it I think you are right. I just hope that some over
eager DXers chase away anyone not on a DXpedition (scheduled or not)
that calls CQ on the frequency. It's that I have heard some IOTA types
that jump in on 14.260 and tell stations to QSY as the frequency belongs
to IOTA whether there is activity or not. Thanks input Pete.

Come to think about it, back in the dark ages when
people like Gud Browning was still around the
dxpeditions used to transmit around 14115-125, which
was not a bad idea. Today, if there are more than one
dxpedition is QRV on SSB problems tend to emerge on
14195 !

[DXR] 14195, HERE WE GO AGAIN

2001-05-16 Thread N7MAL

Here we go again with another useless thread which will accomplish nothing
except use up a lot of bandwidth, and cause more of us to wear out our
delete key.
While you have been whining and crying did anyone notice there is a mini
xpedition going on at ZD8. Last night ZD8R(N6ND) was doing a very nice job
running a very large pile simplex on 14174, not 14195.
Good operators always trump cry-babies on e-mail lists.

2001-05-16 Thread Steve - KF2TI

OK BOYS AND GIRLS..ONCE MORE FROM THE TOP. Below is
the perfect example of why we don;t want and will now actively
discourage discussion here. Once again, one individual decides he
knows whats best and like to see his name in print. Once again
the word warriors come out and play. NOT HERE. If you would
like to play these games, contact me and I will be happy to direct
you to a list that allows all the word wars you can handle.

IOW This thread is done..it's over..fini.

I will be going to Dayton and hopefully, everyone gets my drift
cause after a 10 hour drive I will be cranky and that will not bode
well for those who persist in flaunting our very simple rules This is
the DX News not the DX talk.

Thank you for your understanding
