[DX-NEWS] Virus warning
Just a warning...I received an E-Mail from Jean Pierre Voyer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> this morning which contained the SirCam virus. I advised him he is infected -- just be sure you don't open any attachments from this address for a while. Just a warning...I received an E-Mail from Jean Pierre Voyer [EMAIL PROTECTED] Who isn't even subscribed to the reflector under this address...BUT..PLEASE READ THIS To all subscribers, please, please do not post virus warnings to the reflector. There are just way to many and to post them would tie the reflector into knots. BESIDES... If by now you are NOT running some sort of anti-virus software like Nortons or MacAfee, etc., etc. and if you insist on practicing unsafe software, like opening attachments from sources you don't know, then you deserve everything that will happen to you. In all seriousness...the reflector can NOT pass along a virus (at least to the best of my knowledge, but then Urb can expound on this if he chooses) Virus' are out there people, it's a fact of life.
