Re: [DX-NEWS] Glitches no more
I vote that we give Steve a raise. He had done a fantastic job. And, we should promote Urb to Vice President of Product Development, but assign his raise issue to a study committee. Either way, they have both done a great job for all of us !! 73 de Jim K4PYT --- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net ---
Re: [DX-NEWS] ISS field day contacts// OUTTA SPACE DX !!!!
Do a "sh/dx/25 rs0"on the cluster. All the calls are RS0ISS, so I think that is your answer om. And, to comply with the Rules and The Powers That Be (and my good friend Urb), this is OUTTA SPACE DX, OM ! 73 de Jim K4PYT --- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net ---

[DX-NEWS] Ducie Logs?? Are There Any ??
What is the real story on uploading of the Ducie Logs ?? I am getting conflicting information. Some folks claim they are "in the log" as confirmed by the Log Website, but I know for a fact of at least 6 hams that have worked them who are NOT in the log (from the standpoint of the website).Second question-- why isn't there anything said about this in the official updates ?? When were logs last uploaded, what is the approx freq of updating the logs, etc etc ??I am not being critical. I think these guys are doing great, and all support hams are doing great. I just think meny folks are working them more than they would if they could confirm once and for all that they are in the log. Soo, I think that the group and the support folks could do themselves and all the rest of us an even better service if this could be clarified and published. No flames please... I think these folks are working hard for us, and putting on a good operation.73 de Jim K4PYT
Re: [DX-NEWS] DX Map
The ARRL has a very nice one. It is nice without a frame, and a real beauty with a very nice wood frame. 73 de Jim K4PYT - Original Message - From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, December 29, 2001 2:46 PM Subject: [DX-NEWS] DX Map > Is anyone currently printing a decent world ham radio map? Re: [DX-NEWS] ZK1NCP
Joe, do a "sh/dx/100 zk1ncp" Several of the spots show via JR2KDN I have used this trick many times to find qsl info, at least as far as spotting info is concerned. Also, the K4UTE qsl site shows info as: Additional QSL Manager Information Mgr Call Address Date Source JR2KDN Yuichi Yoshida; Kato Bldg 4F; Rokugaike Kita-ku; Nagoya-City; 462-0002; JAPAN 1/1/2000 WA1LIR The K4UTE site is one of the best, you can bookmark it at: http://users.southeast.net/~rhicks/k4ute.htm 73 Joe, de Jim K4PYT
Re: [DXR] A DXer's view
I must ask that Steve and Urb not banish me for making this reply. I have held off as long as I can stand it, so if I must be banned so be it. Rag, I am offended at this message that you have posted. It is not the fault of the United States that we have been attacked. You cannot make excuses for these cowards who have done this. You should be ashamed, and should immediately apologize to all on these lists. We do not have an ignorant President. Setting all partisian politics aside, members of both of our American parties have fully praised our President for the way he was been handling this crisis. Once more, America is not the party to "blame" for this tradegy. The cowards and fanatics and those who give them safe refuge and spread hatred thoughout the world are the ones to blame, and the ones who will feel the heat of America in the days to come. For now, you should feel the heat for posting this insensible message on our radio lists. God Bless America== 73 and hopefully we can get back to DX, I just don't feel like it today. [DXR] Thanks for Dx Cluster Info !!
I got so many replies to my request for Dx Cluster info, that after I started trying to send individual "thank you's" I quickly realized that it may take all evening. This truly is a helpful bunch, and I surely thank each and every one that responded. I will try several of the suggestions, and I am sure I will find a good node to suit my preferences. Again, this is a helpful bunch. Thanks a lot, and best of DX to all !! 73 de Jim K4PYT Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-news To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives available at http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/ This is the DXR reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org
[DXR] Dx Cluster Info Pse ??
I am looking for a good Dx Cluster Node that is reliable, and only provides spots from the U.S. and Canada. I have the url's for lists of dozens of nodes, but I cannot seem to find one that provides spots only from our part of the world. My personal experience is that I have no need to know what DX is being heard in Europe. My favorite node for several years was wu3v, but it has been down for several months. Anyone have any recommendations please ?? Thanks, and gud Dx to all !!! 73 de Jim K4PYT Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-news To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives available at http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/ This is the DXR reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org
