Re: [DX-NEWS] DX Map
I got a Yaesu map (with a lot of other advertising) through the mail, but I forget who I sent the request to. I think I started at the Yaesu web site. It was folded to make it through the US mail in a standard 10x13 envelope, which makes it a bit less presentable than if it had been rolled up. It's in the pile of stuff I'm going to put up, some day. KC1XX has a beautiful world map on his wall, but I can't find my note with the name of the manufacturer. Doesn't have DXCC prefixes, but does have just about every island imaginable. 73 - Jim AD1C At 10:00 AM 12/29/2001 -1000, Jim Reid wrote: > > Is anyone currently printing a decent world ham radio map? > >Yaesu, or one of their dealers, has in the past, given >out a very large wall DX map with prefixes. -- Season's Greetings 2001/2002 - http://www.ad1c.com/2001/ Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.com --- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/
Re: [DX-NEWS] DX Map
The ARRL has a very nice one. It is nice without a frame, and a real beauty with a very nice wood frame. 73 de Jim K4PYT - Original Message - From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, December 29, 2001 2:46 PM Subject: [DX-NEWS] DX Map > Is anyone currently printing a decent world ham radio map? Re: [DX-NEWS] DX Map
> Is anyone currently printing a decent world ham radio map? Yaesu, or one of their dealers, has in the past, given out a very large wall DX map with prefixes. Wonder if now that they have a new parent company (Vertex Standard, or something similar) still are supplying this map? 73, Jim KH7M --- Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems, etc DX-NEWS http://njdxa.org/dx-news DX-CHAT: http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX NEWS items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/
[DX-NEWS] DX Map
Is anyone currently printing a decent world ham radio map? The last ones I saw were done by CQ and very nice. I think they quit printing them. I would like one to put up on the wall of my shack. They are very handy. You can reply direct. Thanks for your patience.
