From past experience near sunspot cycle peaks, WPX/SSB should be the best weekend of the year for long path on 10M. From the southwestern USA, we can beam SW and work Europe, the Middle East, and the eastern half of Africa. The opening lasts about two hours, starting around 0445Z and continuing to 0645Z. We hope you folks over there will beam SE and call for USA! Peak signals seem to occur about 45-60 minutes after sunrise at the European end. On a personal note, I'm gunning for my "half-DXCC" on 10M LP. Presently stand at 48 countries worked, so I'll be in there. LP conditions were quite good during the Russian contest last weekend. May the propagation Gods smile on us, and keep old sol active but not mutinous! 73, John, NT5C. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-news To post a message, DX items only, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives available at http://www.mail-archive.com/dx-news%40pro-usa.net/ This is the DXR reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org
