John, Good news. The ARRL DXCC desk is now accepting ALL WARC bands including 30-meter cards for a 30-meter single band DXCC (although they have been quietly adding credits for cards that have shown 30-meter contacts and submitted in the last few years). They are also now showing any 30-meter credit by opening the 30 meter field on the DXCC printout on all new and future submissions.
Two weeks ago I sent 295 30 Meter QSLs to ARRL for my 30-meter DXCC (to add to about 25 or so already credited). I have already received them back (although no award yet) with the full printout. However, 30-meter DXCC wont be listed or added to the Challenge (DeSoto) Award until at least 1 October 2002 so no hurry. Therefore, it wont be in the annual DXCC year book until at least 2004! The bad news it that it cost me over $80.00 to get the cards processed for the 30-meter DXCC award ($20.00 for the second yearly submission plus 15 cents per card and return postage)!
