[Dx-packages] [Bug 1283775] Re: Launcher: icon pips are not always updated properly
Today, I installed Ubuntu 14.04 64bit on a spare HDD, and applied all updates. I checked whether the bug still affected the system. It did. I can also confirm, that the new version of unity fixes the issue (I don't have time for 'long term' testing, but as I see Jorge Morais's results are also promising). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. Drag a .html file over the Chrome icon in the Launcher. A spread of the two Chrome windows should appear. Then continue the same drag, and drag the file over the Firefox icon in the Launcher. Nothing happens, the Chrome spread is still displayed. Desired behaviour; After a spread appears as a result of the user dragging a file over a application icon in the Launcher, if the user then drags the file over a different application icon (where the application is also a valid drop receptacle for the file type) the spread should switch to the newly selected application. [Dx-packages] [Bug 1012204] Re: Is not clear enough when an application has information or not
Not sure why this is listed as incomplete, but surely this is something that should be addressed as it's a bit inconsistent from an aesthetics standpoint. It's the little things that matter, and having the colors too closely matched is absolutely not acceptable by the vast majority of users out there. It's just too similar to tell apart. There needs to be a way to quickly and easily identify the application that needs attention. For an idea, check out elementary OS. Their pip dots on their dock turn a bright red. Very easy to tell apart. Light sky blue and white, not so much. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu. [Dx-packages] [Bug 1343962] Re: Sound slider moves itself randomly when scrolling or moving sound pointer
Hello everybody, I confirm this bug. Same problem here. The slider is buggy. I also installed Ubuntu SDK. Despite reinstalling the indicator-sound package and dependencies, the problem is still remaining... Removing SDK does not change the problem. Is this related to NVIDIA proprietary driver that add HDMI sound driver... (using new NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti) ? Is it related to the sound chip on my motherboard, despite it is disabled in BIOS... (so no driver loaded)? Please give us a solution. Best regards. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of DX Packages, which is subscribed to indicator-sound in Ubuntu.
