Stats above are after restarting daemon for several times. Before this memory usage was >60%; CPU - 100%. In file attached you should be able to see there's a loop checking for something repeatedly. Not sure this is the cause though, but feels like it.. It's the first time I've noticed this problem, but I often leave my computer running unattended so I cannot tell if it's really the first time it happened. I can reproduce this bug on xenial as well. Bluetooth remains turned off and as a result it won't appear in the panel. It's taking anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour, but it sometimes makes the system completely unusable. 1. run Firefox 12.0 in the foreground 2. hit Alt to bring up HUD 3. type any text 4. select one proposal from HUD 5. wait for unity-panel-service and hud-service to fill up the remaining RAM and swap space. This is due to a high number of bookmarks in a user profile (hundreds).
