Bug description:
Long press somewhere in week view. This used to create a new event,
but now *appears* to do absolutely nothing. Nowhere in the Calendar
app will you find any evidence of a event existing at that time, even
  if you close/reopen the app.

But, in the indicator suddenly an "Untitled" event appears for that
time. Given that this is not in the Calendar app, there is also no way
to remove this event from the indicator.

we can add add check box and flag in collection to indicate if reminder is

Bug description:
Bq device, Ubuntu 14.10 (r20), Calendar app 0.4.623.

The notification time is definitely too short for me.

If I have my phone in the pocket and maybe I am talking with someone I would
like to be able to see the notification or at least that something happened.
What happens now is that the phone vibrates in my pocket and then in the time
that I say I'm sorry and take it out, the notification is gone and there is
no way I can understand that that was actually the Calendar app (there is not a
notification history to look at).

I think that the Calendar is not a Reminder app, the notification should
stay there for as long as I don't remove it.
If I place something in the calendar is because I want to forget about it
until it happens and then know what is happening, not because I want some
mysterious ghost that makes my phone vibrate without further informations.

So, I guess that the best thing would be that the notifications are
persistent and not fade away without the user being able to see them (like the
Telegram, Gmail, ecc notifications).
Or at least an option to trigger it, because now the notifications are rather
useless for me.

Bug description:
indicator-datetime needs a way to dispatch an arbitrary URL when a
user clicks on an ical event menuitem.

In practice, datetime currently has clock-app hardwired for
  dispatching alarms (dispatch_url('appid://com.ubuntu.clock/clock
/current-user-version')) and calendar-app for everything else
  (dispatch_url('appid://com.ubuntu.calendar/calendar/current-user-
  version')).

There are two use cases that can be supported by datetime handling the
  URL property http://www.kanzaki.com/docs/ical/url.html:

  (1) Clicking on an alarm menuitem opens up clock-app to that specific
alarm, rather than to clock-app's main page. Clock-app could specify
the information it needs in the URL, then open the right page when
passed that information later. indicator-datetime would act as a
  simple pass-through.

  (2) non-calendar, non-alarm items such as from the reminders app as
requested by mzanetti. The pattern would be the same as clock-app:
Reminders would add whatever URL it wants, then datetime would act as
a simple pass-through. This is preferable to adding more special cases
  to indicator-datetime.

  See also related bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/indicator-datetime/+bug/1431384 which discusses abstracting out the
icon shown in ical events' menuitems
