Hi Sebastien, I am using Ubuntu 15.04 64 bit Desktop fully updated. The desktop environment is the default one, namely Unity. My laptop is an Asus UX31A. The issue appears only when the computer is locked therefore I cannot print the screen. But simply the empty battery symbol is white instead of red. It seems inconsistent to me. Probably this bug happens with any window that has keyboard/mouse grab (not only password dialogs). I couldn't type my password or interact with the indicators. gnome-screensaver just refuses to lock in this situation, perhaps unity could do the same unless it's possible to remove and readd the grabs yourself, but I don't think XLib lets you do that (you can only remove your own grabs AFAIK). Note that this bug has over 300 comments and several working but rejected patches. This means that this feature probably will never land in official Unity! So if you want it, you have to use a patched version of Unity. There is a working patch for 13.04 ( from comment #322, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana- design/+bug/733349/+attachment/3573380/+files/minimize.patch ). I have the same issue by Danny in #65 Workaround suggested in #6 worked for me until I upgraded linux imag 3.11.0-17 Then compiz returned requiring too much resources to the system (cpu and ram) I tried to fix with a intel graphic workaround but without benefits.
