Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-screensaver

I'm running a fresh install of Dapper with screensaver set to 'blank
screen', and 'lock screen when screensaver is active' enabled.

If a panel menu (e.g. Applications) is open and the machine is left
idle, the screen fails to lock. It fades out after the time period as
expected, but the desktop reappears after a few seconds.

Ben (comments / criticism welcome, this is my first bug report)

  accountsservice Version: 0.6.15-2ubuntu9.4

Upon authorization using GDM, the accounts-daemon process hangs the
login by consuming 100% CPU on a single processor and rapidly
consuming all system memory. GDM will not continue with the login
until the accounts-daemon process is killed.

I'm using SSSD as the backend authentication module in PAM.

[Dx-packages] [Bug 1319792] Re: unity social media scope is not able to search

2014-07-24 Thread Sasa Paporovic
Hi there and sorry for the late reply. Semms to be that I have not got
emails for the comments until the last of Marco.

I do net see the clue of logging out and logging in. In a normal
workflow it should not be needed by the user to do this during s/he is
just doing everday communications. Also this can't be a important
question for triaging.

Anyway, on restarting, which do also a logout and login, even when it
does more than this, the error is sometimes gone, and sometimes not.
After a couple of work in a session it occures occasionally. I could not
determine on which circumstances and I have tested well, because and
just BTW:

I have used this for a commercial Video-Seminar and show the social
media integration within Unity:

https://www.createspace.com/408062

The social media scope is shown there, and I have felt free to work
arround a little bit and not showing this paper cut to the learner.

The Video_seminar will become availble within the next 3 weeks, and also
through amazon.com. So, it may be that in futhur some more people,
guided by my clips, will hit this problem.
