SV: [Dx4win] TS-2000
Today I stared up my new TS2000 and could not get DX4WIN (5.03) to = exchange data with the rig. DX4WIN has been operational with my ICOM = rigs for two years without problems. I expect the cause to be the = incorrect .rig file as described. I do not have any idea how to change = that and would very much appreciate it if someone could mail the the = correct file or the information. 73 de Erik/SM0JCA - Ursprungligt meddelande -=20 Fr=E5n: "Charley Scarborough" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Till: ; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Skickat: den 24 februari 2002 15:27 =C4mne: Re: [Dx4win] TS-2000 The .rig file originally published for the TS-2000 had 2 errors in it. [Dx4win] Help Importing Old Logs
I am consolidating a bunch of old electronic contest logs for NK7U into DX4WIN. I have got all of them done but a handful and could use some thoughts and advice on these last few. They were all created in 1990 and 1991 and are of two types: * .SAV files. This appears to be a binary file of some sort. I have no idea what contesting software it might be from and/or if an existing DX4WIN filter will work. * .NAF files. This is an ASCII file and may be from the old WJ2O program. The WJ2O filter does not import it and the file is not of the "one record per line" type where I could easity create my own filter. If anyone has any ideas on what I can do with these two I sure would appreciate it. Scott/K7ZO

Erik, I believe that the default baudrate for the TS-2000 is incorrect. (should be= 9600) You can either overwrite the bad default in the radio selection= screen, or modify the rig file with NotePad.exe Paul At 05:10 PM 3/9/02 +, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: >Today I stared up my new TS2000 and could not get DX4WIN (5.03) to exchange= data with the rig. Erik The TS200 Kenwood 2000.rig file included in version 5.03 has 2 errors in it. I've attached the corrected file. Hope this helps. I couldn't get anything on my rig to work until I fixed this. [Dx4win] Can I shut off the sidetone?
There must be a way to shut off the CW sidetone, but I can't find it in the Help files or list archives. Anyone? Also, as long as you're here: when I set a frequency on my IC-756, it switches to the narrow CW filter. Can anyone help there? 73 Gene N7YW
