[Dx4win] automatic tcp/ip connection when DX4Win starts up?
Is it possible to have DX4Win automatically set up a telnet connection to a particular dx cluster address when DX4Win starts up or is it only possible to do it manually from the packet window? Thanks. Ted, W2ZK

Hi Dennis, Lots of people use both DX4WIN and Writelog, including me, and I think K5ZD and ON4UN among them. I have tried some of the other products, and I think DX4WIN gives the best bang for the buck as well as being fairly easy to use. The authors just added 2-radio support among other things. And if I can put in a plug, I've recently taken over maintenance of the DX4WIN country database, based on my 10 years experience with the contest country files. I personally think this will be a big win for the DX4WIN community. Hello DX4WIN-users, I tried to hook up to internet, http://oh2aq.kolumbus.com/dxs/dx25.html?|3, but I got the message An exception occurred. Cannot resolve destination address. I edited the line in dx4win.tcp to look like as above. I have internet connected and web-browser active. Can anybody guide me, pse. I must agree with all the comments about using DX4Win for general purposr logging. Writelog is excelent for contesting but NOT as a general purpose logging program.
