[Dx4win] ADIF import: header
Hello. I created an ADIF version of my own log [log.adi] and I used this ADIF file successfully to upload my log to the LoTW project. However, when I try to import log.adi file into DX4Win 6.02 I got the error: No header found; and no QSO is read into DX4Win. It's true that I have no header ... however I don't know exactly how to generate this header; I'm using an home made logging software so I need to develop it for ADIF support. May someone send me an example of header for an ADIF file suitable to import in DX4Win, please? I think you can generate this header if you own a registered copy of DX4Win [my copy is a demo]. Thanks a lot, 73 Andy
[Dx4win] ADIF import: header
Just export an ADIF log using DX4WIN and look at it. - Original Message - From: Andy [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Tuesday, October 14, 2003 10:41 AM Subject: [Dx4win] ADIF import: header Hello. [Dx4win] TS-140 Kenwood info
Hello all, I can not remember anything about the TS-140. Can anyone tell me if it is a RS-232 controllable rig and if it uses the same command set as the TS-940. I *think* this may have been the mobile rig which was out the same time the larger TS-940 was out. [Dx4win] LOTW tq8 file
I have just been through two cycles of trying to create a complete.tq8 file from my DX4WIN log to upload to LOTW. There is a small problem. In the first attempt, I specified a start date but not a stop date, having read that the default is the current date. All QSO's were included--up until 29Sept2003. Today is 14Oct2003. So I did it again, with a specified stop date of today--14Oct. Again, all QSO's were included--up until 29Sept2003. Can anyone edify me as to what is going on here? Did I reach some internal QSO limit (26000 QSO's here)? Do I just give up and make another submission later? Garry, NI6T CU in the ARRL November Sweepstakes!

First, does the export from DX4WIN have all your QSOs, or does it end on Sept. 29? Second, what is the valid date range of your certificate? Use the TQSL program, Certificate/Properties menu. If your ADIF export is complete - contains QSOs past 29 Sept - it's not a DX4WIN problem. If the export ends there, make sure there's no filter in effect. If all the QSOs are in the ADIF export, it's either a certificate validity range problem or a bug in TQSL. -Rick
[Dx4win] Elecraft K2 and DX4WIN
Just acquired a K2 and am using it with DX4WIN. Per the Elecraft documentation regarding DX4WIN, the mode is not always set right when mousing on a DX spot. I've tried the various Kenwood setups, and find the generic one and the 850/950 one work the same. Also found that double clicking a second time on the same DX spot will ALWAYS set the mode correctly. Has anyone researched the problem and have a better solution? 73, Floyd - K8AC
