If you have DX4WIN 7.0x, you interface with the MMTTY software.

You can get MMTTY from:

http://mmhamsoft.amateur-radio.ca/

Download the FULL version of MMTTY and get that working first. Then setup
DX4WIN to work with MMTTY by reading the on-line help. I have some information
on this web page, but not very much:

http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnote9.htm

John, go into your preferences and make sure that on the CW tab, "External
keyer (Port)" is not set to COM3.

For help with the MMTTY software, please try this group. They can answer your
interface questions:

   http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MM-HAMSOFT/

Once you have MMTTY working by itself, then come back here if you need help
with DX4WIN.

Did you know that you could right-click on the SunRise/Set window, choose Sun
Rise/Set by Date, and get a list of countries that share gray line with you?

As Johnny Carson might say, "I did not know that!"

I discovered this by accident!

It's like finding the hidden cheat codes in video games.

[Dx4win] Adding QSL Managers ??

2007-01-18 Thread Art - W6KY
Am I missing something? Is there a simple 'PopUp'
window that allows the addition of QSL managers? I
can't seem to find it after all these years. I have
actually been adding bogus QSO's with the QSL manager
and then deleting the QSO's. Leaves the QSL Mgr in the
database, but kinda (very) clumsy...
Tnx es 73, Art W6KY

Yup, you missed it, Art!

File -> Databases -> QSL Managers

Use control-Insert to add a new manager.

73 - Jim AD1C

p.s. the DX4WIN.CTY file I maintain has an accurate and fairly
complete list of QSL managers going back over 10 years. New ones are
added all the time. If there are old managers that are not in the
database or not correct, send them my way.
