Re: [Dx4win] QSL date

2008-11-13 Thread Isidro Acosta Hernández
The filtering on QSL date (date equal or later) is not a bug, but it is
documented in userguide.pdf.

Alain,

See File | Preferences | QSO | QSO Date for your options.

 Hi,
When you filter (F8) QSO on QSL Date you filter the QSO with QSL Date

In next version it would be nice if we can filter, at least, on equal
QSL Date (but if we can filter on equal QSL Date and equal or greater
 QSL Date it's better).

[Dx4win] DX Spot window

2008-11-13 Thread Andy Hewitt
Hi,

This morning FK8CP was spotted on the cluster on 7016 cw. However in the
DX4Win DX spot window it was only indicating that it was worked but not
confirmed (blue type). I have worked FK on other bands but not 40m and I
have it confirmed only on 20m. Other countries in the same situation i.e
still needed on a particular band or mode indicate as such with red, blue or
green backgrounds. I have looked at the station, qso and dxcc tabs under
FILE/PREFERENCES and everything seems to be in order.

Does anyone have any ideas?

RE: [Dx4win] DX Spot window

2008-11-13 Thread Andy Hewitt
Karl,

Thank you for the advice, unfortunately I had already checked the awards
preferences. Also I have been using Dx4win version 7.03.16 since May last
year and I have not upgraded to the latest.

Andy,

If you haven't already done so, check the awards listings under preferences.
If those are not set appropriately (whatever that is for the award(s) you
chase) the program won't respond appropriately regarding the priorities of
various spots.

If you've already done this (which I think is probable), I'm not sure what
the situation is, but I got myself into the same problem when I switched
versions (and forgot to do the .ini file), and the awards was the issue.

[Dx4win] DX4WIN.TCP updated 13 November 2008

2008-11-13 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
DX4WIN.TCP is the list of Telnet DX Cluster nodes. If you don't use
the latest file, you may find that some nodes are unreachable.

I updated DX4WIN.TCP on 13 November 2008. The latest file can be found at:

   http://dx4win.ad1c.us/cluster.htm

Please read the installation notes on that web page if you require the
keep-alive version of the file.

Here is the list of the other changes since 22 October 2008:

  9A1CIG-1 Added AR-Cluster node
  KY1V Added AR-Cluster node
  OH5RBIChanged IP address to oh5rbi-cl.oh5ai.fi:8000
  VE9SC Added DX Spider node
W3NR Changed IP address to w3nr.no-ip.org:8000

RE: [Dx4win] Filter on QSO date (bug ?)

2008-11-13 Thread John Balsillie
Hi Paul, We seem to be talking about two different issues. To cut the long
story short. How do we search a single QSL date (not the QSO date)? Your
suggestions only works for a QSO search.

Cheers
