Re: [Dx4win] [DX4WIN] LotW import - invalid Not Found messages
Olivia is incorrectly abbreviated in DX4WIN. DX4WIN calls it "OLIVI". It's on Paul's list. 73 - Jim AD1C p.s. post questions like to the "primary" DX4WIN reflector On Mon, Mar 2, 2009 at 7:45 AM, Mel wrote: > I have been cleaning up my logbook... a lot of odd errors creep in over > time... and I have re-synced LotW. [Dx4win] (no subject)
Jim, please correct me if I am wrong, but I think any mode that has more than five characters in its (formal ADIF) name will be incorrectly abbreviated in DX4Win, as DX4Win only has space for a five character description - if I make a PSK125 QSO, I must manually amend the ADIF file that DX4Win generates before uploading to LOTW - otherwise it will register as a SSB QSO. Re: [Dx4win] truncated modes
My understanding is that Paul is aware of the problem. [Dx4win] New version of ADIF County Conversion uploaded
I've uploaded a new version of my ADIF County Conversion tool: http://software.ad1c.us/#County This program takes an ADIF file from a contest logger like WriteLog or N1MM, and converts the contest-specific county abbreviations into real ADIF field values which can be imported into a general-purpose logging program. This version adds Colorado and Mississippi QSO parties. It also fixes the state drop-down selection box (previously it was too small). Please let me know of any problems you may encounter. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C/Ø, , http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
