Re: [Dx4win] JT65A & LoTW
Reply Forward While I was able to export the contacts .. thank you all. javi LU5FF Hello Javi, The TrustedQSL program should include JT65 as a mode. First thing to do is check your Adif file. Specifically look at the number of characters listed for mode. JT65 The number must read 4 for the four alpha-numeric information such as JT65. If you are using JT65A, the mode number should be 5 (five). If the Adif file appears to be OK, please follow the instructions listed below to add JT65 to your TQSL program. Open TQSL program. Click FILE Click Preferences Click Adif Modes Click ADD In the Adif Mode box type JT65 In the Resulting TQSL mode highlight DATA Click OK Click OK This should give add JT65 to your list. (You can add JT65A as well.) Thank you. 73, Kathy AllisonKA1RWY LoTW Specialist ARRL - The national association for Amateur Radio 225 Main St Newington CT 06111 Telephone: 860-594-0295 -Mensaje original- From: Rick Murphy Sent: Monday, January 24, 2011 5:31 PM To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: Re: [Dx4win] JT65A & LoTW > If you want to submit it as JT65 you can do the following: > > In TQSL Go to File>Preferences>ADIF Modes > Select >Add > Under ADIF Mode type JT65A, Under resulting TQSL mode select JT65. > By doing this all of your JT65A QSOs will be entered into LoTW as the base > type of JT65. It's better to create a map from JT65A to DATA since that's what it is, a DATA mode contact. LoTW doesn't care about modes when matching QSOs, just Mode Groups. > Version 1.13 might handle it directly. Don't know. I didn't know there was > a 1.13 till this morning. I added several new mode mappings to the 1.12 kit which the ARRL used as the basis of 1.13 so it may be in there already. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] CW Keyboard
I have a similar problem using the MMTTY engine and the PSK/CW function. I'm using an FT1000MP with a Microham USBII interface. By default I can't figure a way to use them all on the same comm port. DX4WIN wants to own the port. What I was doing was to launch MMTTY first and then DX4WIN (generating a COMM port in use error). I did this whenever I used RTTY. Since I don't use the CW keyboard I was only using the PSK PTT line. So I shifted the CW/PSK interface to a non-connected comm port. Now the RTTY works fine. 73 AD6ZJ, Loren --- On Thu, 1/27/11, David M. Monfried wrote: From: David M. I did finally manage to get the CW keyboard working.all I needed to do was use the same comm port as that used by Ham Radio Deluxe (HRD) for PTT. That won't be a problem, since HRD and DX4WIN's CW keyboard will not be running simultaneously. (But I do have to shut down the computer after using the keyboard to get the comm port released for HRD. No big deal.) Thanks again. As usual, the responses were fast and pointed me right to the solution. 73, Dave, W2PK __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
