I use to get the split in DX4WIN but with the last few upgrades DX4W does not record the split nor will it pick up the split when sending a spot. I still have the $$ in the contest window and the radio will go to a split if it's picked up in a packet spot, but even then if you work the station no freq ends up in notes for this call. I was hoping in DX4W805 this would get fixed again but it didn't make the cut. I just did a quick look back in my log and it appears that when we got the new freq field DX4W stopped recording the split in the log. I'm using the FT-1KMP MK5 and DX4W805 with Windows 7 64 bit. I put out a query on the reflector a few weeks back but got no response then either. Wayne, if your radio is in split mode, and you try ALT-A to announce a spot, is the QSX frequency filled in? -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] Curious Problem
I just discovered a problem in DX4Win where, if I clicked on a simplex station, all was well. However, if I clicked on a station running split, the split frequency would appear for a second and then change to 1814.4 kHz! I went through the usual troubleshooting routines and finally found that restarting LP-Bridge cured the problem. 73, Roger __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] CE9XX and TT8DX updates
Hi Folks, Just a couple of quick updates: CE9XX active now counts as Chile, CE for DXCC purposes. It had previously been used from Antarctica. It may again be used from Antarctica in the coming weeks by Medhi, F5PHP. TT8DX active now is via DJ6SI. The previous operation from 2000/2002 is still via F5OGL. Baldur, DJ6SI was also the op/QSL manager in 1997. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, jjreis...@alum.mit.edu, http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
