Re: [Dx4win] Multiple QSOs on one label

2011-04-24 Thread Dick Flanagan
Just as an experiment, Eric: Reduce the font size you are using for
your label fonts to something small like 8 pt. Arial. If it still
doesn't print, then you have a space problem. Like Kostas said, if
the space you define for the printed QSOs is too small to fit at
least one QSO, D4W won't print anything.

Hello Eric
This should be the trick, to put a 0. But have you the needed space to print
these qsos? Or better have you define the space you have right? See my notes

[Dx4win] Multiple QSOs on one label

2011-04-24 Thread Eric Rosenberg
I'm printing directly onto my QSL card and want to squeeze as many QSOs as I
can (6 would be great... all bands in a contest). I set MAX QSOs to 0
(zero), but it doesn't seem to work.

Is there a trick I'm missing?

First of all: make a backup of your log...

1. Go to the Preferences > QSO, and set the QSO date box to "Range".
Then, "Save changes and exit".

2. Go to your log, F4 (to set a filter) and click on the Date field and
set the starting date you want to delete. A a dialog box will let you set
the ending date. Click on QSO > Multiple QSO operations > Delete QSOs.
This will delete ALL QSOs in the dates range (Are you sure?). Now press
the Escape key to unset the filter and check that you got what you wanted.
If all if ok, Hit Alt-S to save the log.

Now you may re-import the ADIF. After importing, re-check you your log is
ok.

If something went bad, restore your backup and start again...

Good look!

[Dx4win] Deleting Multiple QSOs

2011-04-24 Thread Eric Rosenberg
I was looking at a log I imported into DX4Win from Writelog and realized
that each QSO is in my DX4Win log twice. I checked the ADIF file generated
by WL and it's okay... one entry per QSO.

I now need to either
delete the dupes (>1000)
or
delete the entire date range and re-upload

I tried creating a filter for the date range, but that didn't work.
I then tried uploading +the ADIF file again, setting it to delete hte dupes,
but that didn't work either.

Not sure what to do next. The thought of manually deleting the >1000 entries
is not a good on :-)

Any help is appreciated.

Re: [Dx4win] MMTTY & DX4WIN help needed

2011-04-24 Thread Antonio Galiana
Hi.
Many thanks to everyone who helped me to solve this problem.

>From the begining I have followed the steps of MK2R+ and DX4WIN 8 setup
guide.
I spent my free time during one week going through the guide step by step,
repeatedly.

Guy suggested that I had installed the software twice. So I decided to:
- uninstall MTTY and delete the folder
- shut down the computer and run it again
- install latest version of the program (1.68A) from MM Hamsoft (THANKS!)
- Follow again step by step Kostas setup guide

...and finally, it works!
What happened? Don't know, age does not forgive.

Again, big thanks to you guys, you are wonderful.
