Label name = Custom1
Label width = 2.625, Height = 1.000
Horz pitch = 2.750, Vert pitch = 1.000
Spacing left = 0.188, Spacing top = 0.500
Horz shift = 0.000, Vert shift = 0.000
Units = Inch,
Nr across = 3, Nr down = 10
Paper size = Letter.
Check "Portrait".

Note that although I am using standard 8160 labels, 1" x 2 5/8" I have set it
up as a Custom label. I guess you can do that with any size label, just have to
play around with the numbers until you get them to fit. I always check using a
blank sheet of paper to save wasting labels, then when it's right go to labels.

Hope this helps,

73, de Mike, WM5DX.

I noticed that when I print QSL labels, I am getting partial ones
printing at the bottom of the page. I am using 5160 labels and the 30
labels on the page are all printing properly. Any ideas? 73 John

Re: [Dx4win] Labels

2011-11-08 Thread Kostas Stamatis
Dimension of the label is too big. Printer can not print there. This is why
you have partial printing. You should "play" a little with the label height.
Remember that vert Pitch says to printer how far is the top of the first
label from the top of the next one. I think you should use smaller numbers
for the label height keeping probably the vert pitch.

Re: [Dx4win] Labels

2011-11-08 Thread Mike Streeter
I had same problem long time ago. I remember it was an easy fix, I think as
follows; Open DX4WIN and bring up QSO box, click on "labels", click on "print
qsl labels", click on "edit". Brings up the label editor. If dimensions are
greyed out clock on "copy". Adjust dimensions and labels per sheet to fit page.
If you are using 8160 labels I can give you dimensions I'm using if you need
them.

Think that's what I did. Long time ago, hope it works for you.

Re: [Dx4win] Challenge Spots

2011-11-08 Thread Hugh Valentine
I surely am not a programmer, but would it be possible to link the "priority"
through the Awards? Then you could set it up for any Awardsuch as the
Challenge to accomplish this desired result.

With the Challenge gaining in popularity ( Most "Old" Dxers have attained
DXCC, WAS, WAZ, etc.) and since most are addicted with the incurable "Ham-O-
Holic" Virus, and ARRL is linking the Challenge to LOTW...the numbers of
Challenge Chasers is immense. This would be a great feature in DX4WIN.

Thanks,

I would add my name to the list of requestors for the ability to change the
order of priorities in Packet2. For example, I just started chasing RTTY
countries, so that mode is not confirmed on any band with any country. But
if a DX spot appears for a country that I have worked on one band, but not
on another band, it still is always priority 4. Since I know it will be
awhile before I get the confirmations, I would love to temporarily swap
priority levels 4 and 5.

Yes you have right. This way (deactivating ssb) you will not see an ssb qso

you need for a band slot.
I don't know a solution. I didn't undertand it ok.
You want ssb qsos but only for new band slots not for new mode. Beside this
the most important is that dx4win gives priority to the mode and not to the
band. If a qso is new mode (ssb) and new band also, you will see new mode
(not interesting for you) but there is no way to know that is a new band.
So you need to change priorites.
I don't think this can be done but it's useful for sure.

Paul, can we define cluster priorities in the next version? For example if i

need the new band to be number 2 and new mode a grey spot, etc...

2011-11-08 Thread ik1MDF
Hi to all!
I am using a ic-7800 rel. 2.30.
Using driver F230... the MAIN VFO will start to jump (every 5 second) on the
SUB VFO, as if it wish to check the SUB, then retur to MAIN in LOOPING
way. No way to stop it.

Using F130... does not happen but the frequency is complete wrong... it
shows DOT instead of COMMA and only 4 digits (14.20)

???
