I don't think i can help a lot. I used LPT keying a lot of years ago. Maybe it is better to make a com interface. Anyway it seems that your cw works but ptt doesn't work. For some radios (yaesu for example) activating vox is a solution. I am not sure how dx4win controls ptt via LPT port. I know also that LPT port has some (mysterious to me) setting in computer's bios. Maybe you can experiment there also. Anyone with experience in win95 and LPT keying out there??? Good luck

"More details" and then some!

Interface: LPT-1
Win 95
DX4win; not Winkey

"and then some": To compound the problem I read about a conflict with LPT
ports and Dx4WIN. I installed that software only to find out it was meant
for Win 7 users; not Win95 users.
Now DX4Win "cannot find LPT1, 2 and 3.

What is mysterious to me is that I can hear my CW in the computer; but no
keying taking place.

Mumble, mumble, mumble..
