Re: [Dx4win] TXing with MMTTY and PSK31?
For RTTY try F11 to start and escape to stop. So long since I used PSK31 can't remember if it is the same or not. 73 John ZL1BYZ -Original Message- From: DX4WIN [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Eric Rosenberg Sent: Thursday, 25 February 2016 17:46 To: DX4Win Reflector Subject: [Dx4win] TXing with MMTTY and PSK31? I can receive in both modes, but can only transmit via the the function keys (i.e., canned messages). For some reason, I am unable to send from the KB. I type in the lower window, press on the KB and nothing happens. I'm using a MicroHam MK2 as the interface. Re: [Dx4win] CC User shared by logger and CW Skimmer
Congratulations! I knew you could get it working. -- Forwarded message -- From: f6gnzDate: Wed, Feb 24, 2016 at 3:25 PM Subject: [ARUser] Re: CC User shared by logger and CW Skimmer To: aru...@yahoogroups.com Hi Lee and all, I installed CC User and updated to the v.3.0241 after some small problems (during v3 update download and "Continue" the message to close app was hidden, resulting in error message "Permission denied". Closing CC User and resuming, upgrade went OK). After configuring User, Bands and two Telnet Connections, one to ve7cc-1 and another to my local CW skimmer port 7301 (edited CC User cluster list and added my Skimmer localhost port 7301), in the CC User window I started receiving spots both from ve7cc-1 and from my local CW Skimmer. To link spots to my logging program DX4WIN, in CC User clicked on Config-Ports/Logging Program and in Ports setup under Logging Program Connection checked "enable Telnet" and use port 7300. In DX4WIN I selected as Cluster " Local>CC User:7300", and: ALL WORKS UFB AS DESIRED! I am getting remote and skimmer spots in my logger's BandMap, by clicking on them I setup my radio band/frequency/mode, populate logging window with selected callsign, and Skimmer starts skimming the new band frequencies! " I'm hapy again..." Lee, thanks a lot for your fine application! I will use the last item in the CC User Menu.. Re: [Dx4win] CC User Config question
Hi Jim,Thanks for the info. Just finished testing and here is the result that I am also posting to the CC User Yahoo Group under my initial question: I installed CC User and updated to the v.3.0241 after some small problems (during v3 update download and "Continue" the message to close app was hidden, resulting in error message "Permission denied". " I'm hapy again..." So, I have followed your instructions and all went perfectly. The only regret I have, is that DX4WIN has not implemented VE3NEA's Band Master instead of the built-in BandMap, as the spots in the BandMap get overcrowded , impossible to see on which frequency they are, while the Band Master has a possibility to stretch a wanted portion of the band with mouse wheel, to make spots and related frequencies easily distinguished. But, one can't have everything... Best 73 and thanks again for your friendly support, Radi F6GNZ On Wednesday, February 24, 2016 3:23 PM, Jim Reisert AD1Cwrote: Bonjour, Radi. "Cluster" is the node you normally connect to. If someone tries to send you mail, or TALK to you, that is the destination to where the talk/message is usually routed. Think of it as your Home Node. But when you log in, that node is usually broadcast around the network anyway. Mail is almost non-existent nowadays, and people use ANNOUNCE and broadcast to everyone instead of TALK. It's not that important. - Jim On Wed, Feb 24, 2016 at 6:33 AM, Radivoj Kar, F6GNZ wrote: > Hi Jim, > > I have installed CC User and started configuring: User Info box where I > enter my call etc.. has a box named "Cluster". > > What to insert in this box? ve7cc, one of European clusters or...? > > 73, Radi F6GNZ -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
