[Dx4win] Icom IC-7610 CI-V

2018-03-06 Thread Daniel Hardy via DX4WIN
Finally got the interface to work with the Radio File which Jim sent to me.

Wouldn't work at 19200 baud as ZL3TE said he had his working
but when I set the radio (Menu>Set>Connectors>CI-V>9600)
and DX4Win (File>Preferences>Radio Baud Rate 9600) it started
working.

Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN and FT-8

2018-03-06 Thread Ed Stratton
Use option 1, it is the easiest and simplest for the time being.

I also save in WSJT the "date".adi file example March 6 2018.adi

WSJT creates a new log.adi after you rename the uploaded MARCH 6 2018.
adi...

That way you only export/import the last adi log into DX4Win

2018-03-06 Thread Kostas SV1DPI
first of all go to file>preferences>QSO tab and go to QSO date and
select Range. File and save exit

Now you can search between two specific dates

Do a search (F8). Write the first date (start of February) and press
enter. Then you will be prompted to fill the 2nd date (end of February).

Then go to file>import/export> adif file and you have what you want.

Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN and FT-8

2018-03-06 Thread Mike Cizek W0VTT
Hello Byron,

DX4WIN does not (yet) fully integrate with WSJT-X or JT Alert. The two most
common methods for entering the new digi modes appear to be:

1. Log everything in WSJT-X and import the ADIF file into DX4WIN. This is
probably best if you make a lot of FT8 (or other JT mode) QSOs.

2. Log them manually in DX4WIN just like you do with CW or SSB, but select
Radio > Ignore Mode in real-time do you can select whichever mode you are
using. This is what I do and it works fine for smaller numbers of QSOs.

Did you set the baud rate correctly? Which interface are you using
between the radio and the computer? Did you previously have a
different ICOM radio that worked correctly with DX4WIN?

In the 7610 menu settings for CI-V, I typically turn Transceive = OFF.
I don't know if that will help in your case.

Also remember that only ONE program can access the radio COM port at a time.

If I touch the VFO knob as soon as I go to Add Real Time the
frequency at the top of the band map changes to crazy things
like: "706,012.87 20M" or -293,987.13 20M.
