I assume you mean the country band window and have gone to "Window" - "Country"

It could also be hiding behind another window.

Funny, after updating, my Band Map won't even come up anymore. I don't see it
anymore. Used to work perfectly. Now, it's missing...

What are your Winkey settings in the CW Keyboard/WinKey settings?

The settings shown in the example configuration for MK II and Dx4Win
work properly with the demo (9.0.5.1221) and both MK II (Winkey v.10)
and MK III (WinKey v.30).

Re: [Dx4win] DX4win / WINKEY interface still apparently broken

2019-06-18 Thread Artek Manuals

I have a different version of the problem

The short version is that when sending CW from DX4win using WINKEY (
ALT-K) the DOT and DASH are reversed?

 I was using DX4WIN 9.03 and Winkey Firmware 30.1 ( Firmware 31.2 would
not work with DX4WIN 9.03...known bug)

Today I upgraded DX4WIN to 9.05 now NEITHER version of Winkey Firmware (
30.1 nor 31.2) work correctly with DX4WIN ... 8^(

WINKEY still works correctly with other programs, most notably N1MM with
both versions of the Winkey firmware. So PAUL I assume the bug is still
resides on your side of the aisle

[Dx4win] 9.0.5.1221

2019-06-18 Thread William Osborne
I my just be getting old, but it seems to me the colors and alerts in this
version are very different from the old ones.  Issues I have:

* After hitting f9 I think the square in the country window stayed on the
country/mode of the spot? Mine now goes to that place then returns to the
current freq/mode of the radio.
* The announcements seem to be for the lowest level award the spot satisfies.
I have mine set to announce "new award mode" and it still announces new award
bands?  What if it is a new country will it still announce as a new award
band
* Same with the colors."new award mode" is listed in the documentation as a
higher ranked even (2 vs3) than "new award band" but for spots that are both
mine colors  the spot as a new band.
All I want is for CW and Digital spots to be announced if they are new or
unconfirmed, but I simply cannot seem to be able to do this.  Any help would be
appreciated.

Best 73,Bill--K5ZQ

[Dx4win] Printer "setup" problem in v9.05?

2019-06-18 Thread Lee Hallin
Running on a PC running Windows 7 Pro.

I don't know if this a general problem or one related to, perhaps, my printer
(HP LJ 4000, parallel port connected).

If I click WINDOWS -> Logbook
Then Right click and click PRINT, then click Setup -> Landscape -> OK, then OK
to actually print, I get the Logbook printed in "Portrait" instead of Landscape.

I did it twice and the same behavior.

For grins, I tried the same scenario using DX4WIN v9.01 on a different PC and a
different printer and it printed in landscape. Don't know if it printed in
Landscape because there is an issue with Setup on my HP LJ 4000? Or if it is
related to the DX4WIN version 0.05 vs v9.01.

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

73,
Lee N7NU

P.S. I upgraded from v9.04 to 9.05. DX4WIN restarted and I did the above
scenario. I did NOT re-boot between the upgrade and running the above
scenario. I'll reboot the PC tonight (when I get home) and see if that makes a
difference.
