Hi Joe,I am trying to make my IC7610 work with the very powerful win4icom
Suite, which can control all functions of the Radio, have Spectrum/Waterfaii
display,  DX cluster and can handle up to 6 applications that control the radio
without conflict (like the DDUtil I was using before with my old SDR G11 RX).
Suite controls IC7610 via it's USB CAT port at 115200 bps

When dx4win is used alone via the suite, configured following Suite's User
Manual, everything is OK, frequencies/mods are controlled both by dx4win and
the Suite. Idem when the CW Skimmer is used in the suite without DX4WIN opened.
But if both are activated in the Suite, then Dx4Win loses contact avec radio
and the Suite gets frozen.
DX4win in Suite, OK; Start CWS out ofSuite, com1/19200 (Router CAT to CI-V):
CWS reads and controls radio, but DX4Wand suite frequencies do not follow and
stay blocked on freq’s before CWS start. So, can’t use CWS when DX4W is in Suite.

Running CWS within the Suite and dx4win not started is OK, CWS can control vfoA
and B radio frequencies via the Suite. But as soon as dx4win is started (out of
Suite), everything is screwed-up.
I suspect it happens because Router continues to poll the radio over it's CAT-V
port, while DX4WiN and CWS try to control radio via USB port, but I am not 100%
sure of it.
So, I'd like to test if it may work by checking "Disable router queries" in
Routers Radio window, but there is a warning that MicroHAM support should be
contacted before checking it.
Second possibility would be to exit Router, but then what would  happen with
Eltima virtual ports used to connect dx4win and CWS to the Suite. Also, it
would disable other MK3 features.
Third possibility is to unplug the MK3 USB cable from the PC and keep router
running, with or without the Disable router queries checkbox...Maybe this would
allow both apps to work together via the Suite.
Tom, VA2FSQ, the Author of the router has tested dx4win and CWS in the Suite,
and they work fine together. Yes, but without the MicroKeyer, Router and all
controls go via radio USB CI-V activated port.
So, Joe, would you please let me know your opinion on all above in view of
keeping the  MK3 and it's offered features (CW keying, memory, a.f. routing
etc..).
The last, independent question: is it normal that the MK3 LED a.f control
display goes black after some time??
Best 73 and thanks in advance,
Radi f6gnz
