[Dx4win] DX4WIN V9

2017-11-22 Thread Doyle
Appareciate the responses.  I found out where I goofed up, I had
played with DX4WIN V8 in the past & unzipped the license into V8 in
stead of V9.  All is good now.  Getting old.

    Thanks,

Doyle/N4VV

Hello Doyle,

Try exporting your v5.03 file and importing it into version 9:

In version 5.03:
File > Import/Export > Import/Export Filters
Export as the latest version of dx4win (probably version 5)
This gives you a .DXQ file.

In version 9.03:
Make a new log file (it will be blank) N4VV
File > Import/Export > Import/Export Filters
Select: DX4WIN4 I/E DX4WIN Version 4.06 & later
Import your .DXQ file from version 5.03

This should work.

[Dx4win] DX4WIN9

2017-11-17 Thread Doyle

GE,

I have been using DX4WIN version 5.03 since 2000 & thought it was
time to upgrade to version 9.  After installing the DX4WIN9 DEMO I
copied my N4VV.DXL log  from 5.03 & pasted into 9.02 save file.  I
opened the saved file, but most of the data was wrong, wrong band, wrong
mode (only CW & RTTY, no SSB).  No problem getting the cluster & radio
connected.  I was able to import an ADIF file which worked.

Any ideas, I would like to upgrade, just want to make sure it works.

    Thanks,

Doyle/N4VV

[Dx4win] DX4win Label printing

2013-03-01 Thread Doyle
GE,

I need to print labels for a bunch of bureau cards. I use to print them
using W98 an old dot matrix printer.

Wonder what other people are using to print labels. Laser printer, label
printers or what.

Please respond off-line to: n...@comcast.net

Many thanks,

Doyle/N4VV
