[Dx4win] Config file deleted
A couple of days ago I managed to delete my config file and had to start over getting 9.0.9.1259 looking and acting how I like it. Now every new QSO logged or imported has the Label Print, LoTW Upload and eQSL Upload boxes checked as Yes. I don't want it that way and haven't found where to change that setting. [Dx4win] Changed QRZ Password, No F3 Ext. Data.
All I did was change my QRZ.com password. My F3 has been working for two years. I have gone into DX4WIN Ext. Data tab and entered the new PW multiple times but the lookup still isn't working. [Dx4win] SOTA Report Mixed with US Islands
DX4WIN 9.0.9.1259 I am finally getting around to analyzing my SOTA contacts. I've gone in and made sure I have the summits accounted for in each QSO under Custom Awards and Values. When I go into Reports / Custom / SOTA and then select Submission I get a list or two summits and 206 US Islands. When I do the same submission report for US Islands, I get the same list. 2 Summits and 206 islands. When I do a SOTA report for Listing Worked I get 14 summits back. Most of the time I record the SOTA value in the "Notes for this QSO" cell. In the process of putting the summits in the custom awards, I would select SOTA then click into the Value cell. DX4WIN would take several seconds and 2 or 3 tries before the cursor would show in the cell and the main window would flash. Eventually I could select the value and save the QSO. [Dx4win] SWL QSOs?
Curious how everyone handles an incoming SWL card or eQSL? I recently added a DX SWL QSO confirmed by a QSL card by leaving the RSTs and RSTr blank and in the QSO notes SWL with "W9xxx". This way I can send out my QSL card and keep the record in DX4WIN. [Dx4win] IC-7300 Com Port Conflict, No PSK31
DX4WIN is running great with the IC-7300 using Com Port 3 F9 real time logging, no problem reading the frequency. WSJT-x talks to the 7300 no problem. I change freqs ok. Logging pulls the freq from the 7300. I do have to have DW4WIN off to start WSJT-x or I get a conflict warning. The real problem comes when I try to open the PSK window in DX4WIN. When I go to settings and select the TX tab I see that the PPT it is set for com port 4, DTS. If I try to set it to Com port 3 I get an error message. If I have DX4WIN open and I try to also open WSJT-x I get the expected conflict error window. I like using Groups instead of QSO notes. I would make a new group and then set its number in Preferences/QSO/group # then do the import. This puts the whole import under that group #.
