[Dx4win] labels and Lines

2021-01-13 Thread Marc Wullaert ON4MA
Hi dx4win'ers,

Is there a way to disable the outside lines on a label in version 9 when you
print?

I know about the lines around the qso data.

Subject: [Dx4win] MicroHam USB II
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hello all
Trying to configure the just received MicroHam USB II with DX4Win... and
of course nothing works
Using a FT1000MP Mark V, DX4Win version 7.01, MMTTY version 1.65D and
Windows XP.

I think I followed all steps, but obviously I did something wrong,
otherwise it would work...
The thing (sic) will key on CW, but send funny stuff, not the stuff I
type in the CW little window that appear after a Ctrl K.
MMTTY will not even receive anything, needless to say will not transmit.
I have not tried the phone messages yet, as I still have not found how
to record them...

Anyone with a little bit of patience, and possibly the same set-up
described above could help me please ?
The help pages do not show the same screens I get (for example, I cannot
find the "CW" tab on DX4Win, I cannot find the "CW keying" tab on MMTTY...)

I can be reached on MSN messenger using the address : [EMAIL PROTECTED]
By the way, I have had to disconect my screen speakers, so I have no
more sound on the computer...

Many thanks in advance

[Dx4win] [Fwd: CAT and RTTY]

2007-09-03 Thread Marc Wullaert ON4MA
Paul
you could change the radio file .This is already somewhere in the archives
how to do it ..
simply edit the radio file (make first a backup or change the name)

look for this
[MODES]
AM=3;4,5;N
CW=2;2,3;N
FM=4;6,7;N
PACK=6;10,11;N
RTTY=5;8,9;N
SSB=0,1;0,1;N

change PACK to RTTY and i think it will work !

[Dx4win] DX4WIN + TS-850 + RIGBlaster + CW

2006-12-05 Thread Marc Wullaert ON4MA
ED
Wile looking at the rigblaster homepage 2 things I found.
It do's not control your radio
it does CW via comport .
It does not FSK keying see http://www.westmountainradio.com/faq.htm#faq12
than you need the pro model.
To control you radio
So you need another comport with a level convector betweeen comport and ts
850s radio.

If the writers of manuals soud include all units that are avaible from
different tirt parties
it would cost alot of money.

Probely a more solutions is to rea the manual of the rogblaster pro.Maybe
there are others
with the same setup that could help you out.

I am having an unsucessful time trying to get DX4WIN to:

+ read my Kenwood TS-850 into the DX4WIN logging program, and

+ send CW from the computer keyboard

with a RigBlaster Plus hooked up to the 850 and the computer sound card. I
have a W1GEE interface and three serial ports available on the computer (COM
1, and a NetMos dual serial port PCI card as COM 4 and 5)

Neither the DX4WIN User Manual or the Help menu seem to address how to hook
up and configure this combination of equipment.

Am I trying to do the impossible?

Help, please.

[Dx4win] Where is the Tech Support?

2006-11-12 Thread Marc Wullaert ON4MA
Howdy Guy's

This is how dx4win works.
When you are real time logging and from the moment
you hit f9 with radio on .When a spot is coming it changed a few seconds to
that spot
mode and band while checking your log to see you need it or not !Nothing
happens
with the radio and after 2 seconds (probely longer or shorter with a
slower/faster pc) the radio freq and mode is
displayed.Now it is coming
>From the moment you type in the callsignfield , the spots who flow in are
not changing the radio
freq and mode in the log window because you are in real mode logging. From
the moment you log a
station (ENTER) it all start over.

What I see with my orion's there is some delay.Respons is delayed probely
some data is lost from te radio(polling)
I never had this with my ft1000mp's ;-))

[Dx4win] Wait for upgrade

2005-06-21 Thread Marc Wullaert (ON4MA)
Hi

I'm still waiting to upgrade to 7.01.I see comments of bugs in the new
version.
But I don see any reaction for bugs from the programmer to the group!

Have to wait another year or 2 for a new upgrade and pay again ?
Look at N1MM contest software.Free and if a bug is found they try to
have a fix very quickly.

I have now Winkey (ASCII CW KEYER) for my rigs but asked to
import in dx4win but got not even a reaction.

I like Dx4win but a quicker response from the programmer to the reflector
would that be nice and also a good advertisement for this program !

After going through the usual upgrade setup I'm puzzled to see some of the
databases greyed out in the database menu: countries, IOTA, QSL Managers &
Radios are greyed out, the others are OK. Am I doing something wrong ?

[Dx4win] Clusters

2003-02-09 Thread Marc Wullaert ON4MA
Look with a texteditor like NOTEPAD for the file dw4win.tcp in your
dx4win/save directory
edit the text file erase what you not need and save it.
Be careful ,if the link is not working anymore you need a another one .Best
is to print this file
on paper or backup .You never now.

[Dx4win] Help again

2002-12-27 Thread Marc Wullaert ON4MA
Dick,
I very good advise is to make backups from your log on a regular basis ( I
do weekly or direct after
a newone worked)
doing this will help you a lot.Imagine you have a HD crash !!
Make first a copy of your log file and some others dxw4in.cty and .cfg and
normaly
dx4win.ini (this file help you a lot with all your info for the preferences
setup)
First you have to unzip the zip file you have in your download folder,
unzip it in a temp folder
If I remember good ,you get 2 files after unzipping.
Start with the .exe.This will install DX4WIN 5.03.
you have to enter your registration code and vica versa or if you have the
.ini file
you can merge it in preferences.
now open your log
to export your log you go to File/import- export /click on adif go to
file/export
and give it a name.
