[Dx4win] Fw: Trouble With Packet window to DX Spots
Hello All, Thanks to Jim AD1C, he found a problem with my setting in the Packet 2 settings window with the "DX DE" spots. A "|" was missing between DX DE. Not sure how that happened as I did not change any preferences. Thanks to those of you who made suggestions. [Dx4win] DX and WAZ Color Spots
Hello I was wondering if there is a way to set up DX4WIN so that I can get different colors and announcements for WAZ and DX at the same time. The WAZ spots are grayed out or show up as black (nothing special). I am trying to work all countries on each band and WAZ on each band. I am using V6.04 and have tried many different setting combinations. ThanksSkip KE9L ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

[Dx4win] Label Printing
Hi All I recently down loaded my log from a different logging program into dx4win. I would like to print labels for QSO's after a certain date, not confirmed. Prior to printing I got a print count and it turned out to be my whole log. I tried different ways of filters, but did not get good numbers there either. Can someone help me out. Create a Date Filter using Filter -> Selection Then using that filter, use F8 to search for unconfirmed QSOs. At this point you should be able to print the labels you desire. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jul 10 12:28:16 2005 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (=?iso-8859-1?Q?Milan_G=FCtter=2C_OK1FM?=) Date: Sun Jul 10 12:39:53 2005 Subject: [Dx4win] New callsign label print? [Dx4win] Fw: Function Keys
- Original Message - From: Skip Caswell To: dx-news dx reflector Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2004 9:39 PM Subject: Function Keys Hi All Thanks to all those that did reply to my question. Guess I didnt explain my question properly about the function keys. Function keys can be programed to do different things, such as once I am connected to a Telnet node I have programed F5 with my call and it works. I would like to program F4 to connect to the Telnet node I use instead of doing a right click, selecting internet connection and then scrolling down to the Telnet node I want to use. Just trying to make a short cut. I have tried various combinations for the F4 key, one did connect to the telnet node but I was unable to then do anything else as I got an error message and the only way to get out of the program was to use Taskmanager to shut DXWIN down. I have used the numerical telenet address and the telent node description. I am missing some type of character in the string. Anybody got any ideas? [Dx4win] Questions
Hi I am new to the program and I have a couple of questions hopefully someone can answer. 1. What is the syntex for reprograming a function key so I connect to a telenet station? I have tried different combinations with no luck. 2. Many of my QSO window-logbook has two entries for the same station with the same time ect. I think the problem is that I imported my logs from another program, renamed one log. DX4win is combining both logs. Any ideas on how to get rid of one set of contacts? I was thinking of deleting one log. Thanks Skip KE9L From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 21 21:12:54 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (J. F. Samuels) Date: Tue Dec 21 21:24:38 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] Questions References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 1. I don't think you can cause a PF key to access the TCP list and connect. I manually right click in the packet window command area and select Internet Connection. 2. Sorry you got dupes in the log - they can't be eliminated automatically. Do one of the following: 1)start over and only import once, 2) go through manually, using the log window sorted by date and time, and delete dupes, or 3) output all the records, write a program to sort and de-dup the file, import back in to a new DX4WIN file. Maybe someone else has an easier way. 73, John, K2CIB - Original Message - From: "Skip Caswell" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Sent: Tuesday, December 21, 2004 6:52 PM Subject: [Dx4win] Questions > Hi > > I am new to the program and I have a couple of questions hopefully someone > can answer. > > 1.
