Re: [Dx4win] [DX4WIN] Multiple QSOs Group number
Really I don't know the answer to the original question. But about the use of the groups another idea is... I have all of my contest in the same group number. I use ad1c' software to convert my contest log to dx4win file and then import it. I add in the notes field the name of the contest as follows for cq wpx cw contest I add CQ WPX CW CONTEST 2016 for bartg I add BARTG RTTY 2016 and so on. That means that my format is: Name of the contest, mode, year. Now if i need to find all of my qsos I made in a contest on cw inside 2016, i need to press f8 and write cw 2016. If I want to see all my cq wpx qsos, guess it, f8 and write CQ WPX and so on. All of my rtty contest's qsos I write RTTY... anf finally if I want all the qsos from a specific contest, I write cq wpx cw 2016... This is far more flexible in my opinion. I use the groups to have different calls under the same dxcc. For example I have different group number for my sv1dpi qsos, sv1dpi/8 qsos, sv1dpi/p qsos, sx2004d, special calls, etc. 73 Kostas SV1DPI On 24/3/2016 2:36 πμ, Ernie Walls wrote: Group numbers were increased 5-6 years ago.
