[Dx4win] Convert W1AW Centennial QSOs to Spreadsheet version 2.6 released
I've released version 2.6 of my program to convert your W1AW QSOs (ADIF format) into a spreadsheet: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/ Here are the release notes for this version: Ver. 2.6 - 21 October 2014 Bug fix: W1AW/KH0 (and W1AW/KH8) were reported as "Not a valid callsign." Feature: Added "Update" button for updating the program with current version from the web The Update feature is not very well tested. It will only apply if version 2.7 or later is released. At that time, I'll take problem reports. Currently it should report that the version you have (2.6) is the latest version. If you encounter any problems with the program or in the documentation, please let me know. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] Convert W1AW Centennial QSOs to Spreadsheet version 2.0 released
I've released version 2.0 of a program to convert your W1AW QSOs (ADIF format) into a spreadsheet: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/ This new version features a real Windows GUI program and a real Windows installer. There have been no functional changes. You can see what it looks like by going to the URL above. In a weak moment, I started looking into how hard it would be to wrap a Windows GUI around the program. I ended up doing so without using Microsoft's development environment (Visual Studio). In some ways, this sped up the process, if you take away all the time I spend becoming familiar with the intimate details of Windows API (programmers interface). I certainly learned a lot in the process, and there are some things I would like to improve. There is still one feature I still need to add (support for W1AW/3 in DC starting in October). That will go into the next version. If you encounter any problems with the program or in the documentation, please let me know. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] Convert W1AW Centennial QSOs to Spreadsheet
Recently I wrote a crude program for Windows to help find the W1AW/* QSOs in your log and convert them to a spreadsheet format, sorted by state. You can find out more about the program here: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/ Version 1.3 of the program was released on 27 May 2014: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/#history You can see the sample output here: http://software.ad1c.us/W1AW/AD1C.pdf When I say "crude", I mean that it's a command-line program, not a real Windows GUI. The program has been tested by several people. If you have any problems or suggestions, please send them my way. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

I don't know if I'll ever build a real GUI for it, I really wanted to get something together quickly for myself, as some of the the W1AW/# states are starting to repeat. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

Now sorted by NAME (i.e. Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, etc.) 2. print statistics at the end, i.e.: 37 states worked on CW 34 states worked on DIG 34 states worked on PH 1 states worked on 80m 34 states worked on 40m 30 states worked on 30m 29 states worked on 20m 23 states worked on 17m 24 states worked on 15m 18 states worked on 12m 7 states worked on 10m No more work on this today. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
