I have a simple interface between my computer and my Ameritron RCS-10 antenna switch, which applies the BCD output from the LPT port through a driver IC directly to the BCD lines going out to the remote relay box. Simple and cheap, compared to a band decoder, but what it means is that I must be able to configure the band output of the logging programs I use to send the same BCD code for 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10, so that the antenna switch will select my tribander when any of those bands is active.
N1MM Logger has a very configurable band data output scheme, which supports this requirement plus additional antenna choices for 40 and 80 with their own unique BCD codes. DXLab has a totally configurable scheme, but it's a little daunting, compared to N1MM's simple, English-language configuration dialog. I wonder if there is any prospect that DX4WIN might add such a feature (like N1MM's, that is) in an upcoming release. -- 73, Pete N4ZR The World Contest Station Database, updated daily at www.conteststations.com The Reverse Beacon Network at http://reversebeacon.net, blog at reversebeacon.blogspot.com, spots at telnet.reversebeacon.net, port 7000 ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
