[Dx4win] DX4WIN going out?
I must say, the DX4WIN is a great program, but is going more and more quickly out. The main reason is, that users suggestions aren't implemented, in general. When I compare the DX4WIN for example with WWW.N1MM.COM , I see the abysmal difference. During past 12 months the N1MM (which is free!) has 20 or 30 or more upgrades, the DX4WIN - no one. I'd be happy if the all the bugs from one version could get fixed before putting out another version with more stuff in it. There's a reason I'm still on 5.03.

Yes ... but if you look at the "updates" for N1MM, they are "fixes" of things that didn't work correctly in the first place (3 updates in one day, see Feb. 21, 2004) ... NOT new features. There IS a difference. Sorry, but I prefer programs that work correctly (i.e., less bug fixes) and add new features down the road, than one that needs to be "updated" every other day because something doesn't work right. True, but the differences are that N1MM is a contest program and DX4Win is a logging program that tracks awards, countries, etc. N1MM clearly outlines that on his web page.
