Thanks Paul! That worked and the Groups and Group Names are restored. Meanwhile I did rid the log of duplicates a few days ago . The Group Names may have gotten deleted when I did that. About two and a half years ago (10/22/2017), I experienced this same event. I opened my log today and when I went to Filter>Edit Group Names, I saw that all Groups were gone and the log showed no Group Names. I have (had) 174 Groups. I have a recent backup from 5 days ago that does show the Group Names. I could manually update that log with the intervening QSO's but wonder if there is an easier way. Jim, Keep a copy of your 8.05 log in a safe place! Open the log directly, no export/import steps needed. You should have all your group info in the log. Regrettably none of my DX4WIN 8.05 group numbers or descriptions are to be found after the move to Ver 9.01. I have 142 groups mostly for different contest Q's. Any suggestions?
