Re: [Dx4win] How to un-mark QSO as invalid

2023-12-26 Thread k9eljohn
Mike,

Thanks! Not sure why I forgot about doing that. I did change each field
individually and my LOTW credits now match DX4Win. I received LOTW credit
for 3 XU7GNY QSOs earlier this year. It appears that taking away LOTW
credits is not an easy task.

Kostas - I marked QSOs as invalid by using the mark QSO as invalid in the
QSO menu.

Hello John,

I think we have to change each field individually. I sure hope XU7GNY gets
proper documentation into the DXCC Desk because he gave me two new Challenge
points.

It's possible that the League will let those credits stand because it would
be a huge task for them to remove them all. Similar things have happened in
the past.

DX4Win has a handy feature that allows you to keep QSOs in your log that may
be iffy, but you can mark then=m as invalid for awards.

I did that a few weeks ago when the DXCC desk announced that the XU7GNY
operations earlier this year are not valid.

However I had already received credit for a 12 meter QSO which I need for
that band. Now it appears that the DXCC desk is not going to revoke credits
already given, so I would like to return that QSO to valid status.

I have not found a way yet to mark QSOs valid that were marked invalid -
anyone have any hints?

I have not yet tried deleting everything and manually re-entering the data.

How you made it invalid? If you typed an I (India) in dxcc box, typw a -
(dash) now. If you wrote in report a 0 make it 59
