Did you set the baud rate correctly? Which interface are you using between the radio and the computer? Did you previously have a different ICOM radio that worked correctly with DX4WIN? In the 7610 menu settings for CI-V, I typically turn Transceive = OFF. I don't know if that will help in your case. Also remember that only ONE program can access the radio COM port at a time. -- Jim Reisert AD1C,, http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] IC-7610 Interface
Jim sent a radio file to me to try. ZL3TE says it is working for him. I set it up and when I click on QSO > Add Real Time the everything locks up, the radio times out and I get the error message Radio Time Out - Radio disabled. If I touch the VFO knob as soon as I go to Add Real Time the frequency at the top of the band map changes to crazy things like: "706,012.87 20M" or -293,987.13 20M. 73, Dan, N8VV n...@arrl.net n...@aol.com __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
