Cool you jets! This happens every year in January and February.
The DXCC Desk stops processing LotW applications until they have
cleared all the paper applications from the previous year and
finalized the "end of the year" standings for the DXCC Yearbook.

In some years it has been late March or early April before they
start processing applications for the "new year".

Wayne,
Thanks for the info. I guess I'll wait to make a submission for
a few weeks in case some additional QSL's show up.
I see the LoTW Computer is all up-to-date now since their
upgrade last week. Today, I sent in my Log from this weekend's
NAQP at 1930Z and by 2005Z the QSOs & QSLs had shown
up and credited. That's now 1/2 hour versus 11 DAYS last
Monday!!! BRAVO to the ARRL for getting things fixed so
well!!

Hi All,
Anyone submitting a 2013 submission to ARRL should be prepared for a
wait.

This from ARRL today:

"Your Logbook application, unfortunately, will not be processed for at
least another four weeks. We are processing all in-house
2012 applications and will not start 2013 applications until last year's
applications are completed.

Thank you."

Re: [Dx4win] LoTW delays

2011-11-01 Thread Loren Hunt
I last uploaded at about 0001Z on Nov 1. It came through this morning. So the
33 hours is real...

Isn't it great that so many are now using LoTW? The delay is short compared to
sending off $$ to parts unknown.

"Due to a large number of radio amateurs uploading their logs to
Logbook of The World (LoTW) after last weekend’s CQ Worldwide SSB
Contest, the ARRL’s online QSL verification service is experiencing
delays. According to ARRL IT Department Manager Michael Keane, K1MK,
there is about a 33 hour wait for logs to be processed. “Logs are
processed in the order in which they were received,” he explained. “If
you have uploaded your log to LoTW, your log is currently queued for
processing. It has not been lost in the system. Uploading your log
multiple times will only further delay "
