[Dx4win] Need more Comm ports

2002-12-22 Thread Stan Staten
I am using a newer SIIG card. The LAVA cards wouldn't work with
the new motherboard and when I asked if I just needed to buy a
newer one, they told me that none of theirs would work. That was
early this year. I went to the latest SIIG board and it workd
just fine.

I am in need of a few more comm ports to connect to my HF rig,
antenna rotor
controller and another device using DX4WIN. I need some advice on
what board
I need to purchase to do this.

TIA,

Dave

[Dx4win] Need more Comm ports

2002-12-22 Thread Mel Martin (VE2DC)
Interesting... I have 2 Lava cards and I run up to 1500W out on all HF
bands without any difficulty. Guess it depends on how much RF in the
shack...

I had a Lava multiport,
it is now replaced by Byterunner.
Lava was to much HF sensitive
even with opto-coupler insulated interface

Dave,

I'm using a Byterunner card here...works like a champ.
