I would love a great contest program that would run on Linux for a M/M or a
M/S.

 Hello Byron,

I waited some days to see how many post on Linux we will see on this
 list :-)

My count is at 3 included you N3ZO, John WA9ALS and me. This is why I
think this is off topic :-)

I will post here if I have good success with a configuration easily
reproducible or if I need Linux users to try some tricks on other Linux
 distributions different than mine.

 Philippe

Not sure why you feel it is off-topic here, Philippe, but I'd

and DX4WIN running on LINUX I would retire these WIN machines
  in 72 hours.

Hello All

I have an old machine here loaded with Susie Linux. I used Linux in my
office when I was working it performed great for the tasks I set it up
for.

It is unused now because I could not find a way of running ham software
on it.

Philippe I'm also very interested in running DX4Win under Linux.
Using Slackware in the office but have a separate Windows 98SE computer
for the shack and would dearly love to change the shack computer to Linux.

How do you thik about it, Paul?
