To second what Bud suggests, there is a time window during which repeated spots are NOT re-announced. I don't remember what that window is, maybe 20 or 30 minutes? Once there is NOT a spot for a call for that number of minutes, then the call is announced, you should get the voice announcement. This also applies to the "beep" or "bell" that you can get when a needed one is spotted. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] Voice Announcements
Are voice announcements only made if DX4WIN has focus? Re: [Dx4win] Voice Announcements
Hi Dave, I believe D4W only announces a new band/mode/country the first time it is spotted. So you can get many, many additional spots for new whatevers and the program doesn't announce them.
