Re: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels?
Larry's method is what I use for stateside managers. I also set the method to $$$ for all DX Stateside Managers. I use 'direct' for QSO's that I want to include hand written comments. This way I can print then separate and at different times. - Original Message From: Larry Gauthier (K8UT) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Jim Reisert AD1C <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; dx4win@mailman.qth.net Sent: Friday, September 5, 2008 1:10:21 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels? Jim, My inelegant method for doing a batch of stateside direct QSL's is as follows: 1. Set DX4Win filter for Prefix = "K", Label = "Y", Method = "Direct" 2. Open DX4Win Window, "Logbook" 3. For each QSO listed in Logbook a. Set the QSL Mgr = station callsign b. Press F3, then to get to QRZ.COM callsign lookup c. Press in QRZ.COM for well-formatted mailing label d. Copy/Paste from QRZ.COM mailing label to DX4Win QSL Mgr address 4. Print the labels from DX4Win Labels -> Print QSL Labels. It ain't pretty, but it works. -larry K8UT - Original Message - From: "Jim Reisert AD1C" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "DX4WIN" Sent: Friday, September 05, 2008 13:28 Subject: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels? I have a bunch of QSOs with USA stations and are marked for labels (QSL method = Direct). There is nothing in the "QSL Manager" box for any of those QSOs. How do I make DX4WIN print both the QSO *and* the address labels together for all those QSOs (which it can lookup from the local RAC callbook database)? Re: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels?
Hi I use the same methode, with station callsign as the manager, to be able to enter an address label, and the QSL label ony have one station callsign for those QSO's (i.e. NO "via call" added). Re: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels?
I think "W1XYZ via W1XYZ" on the card was fixed by an option in 7.04, but I haven't tried it yet. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C/Ø, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us - Original Message From: Karl Oyster <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Jim Reisert AD1C <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, September 5, 2008 2:45:46 PM Subject: Re: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels? Jim, You can also put the station's callsign into the QSL manager box and the program will do what you want it to. Looks a little strange on the card, however, when it says "K1KO via K1KO." If there's a way to avoid actually printing the "via" on the card, that would solve the problem, too. 73, Karl, K1KO ___ Dx4win mailing list Dx4win@mailman.qth.net http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win

Re: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels?
Thanks. I was afraid you were going to say that. Fortunately, it's not too hard to export the QSOs to a text file, then make a simple QSL manager file out of it to import back into DX4WIN. Sounds like material for an application note! 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C/Ø, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us - Original Message From: Richard Hicks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Jim Reisert AD1C <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, September 5, 2008 12:05:36 PM Subject: RE: [Dx4win] How do I print both QSO *and* addresses labels?
