Parker, Does this mean the date I requested with Miss Sweden is off? I just finished pressing my tuxedo, waxing my car, and I have been doing sit-ups for THREE WEEKS to look great! *Sigh*! [e-gold-list] Re: C'mon guys! OR how to improve your SEX life
Hello all from a long-time lurker, I've sold over 100 items on eBay over the last 6 months. I've prominently displayed the e-gold payment option in each auction listing, along with Billpoint, PayPal and a couple of PayPal clones. I've yet to have a single customer pay for an auction via e-gold or even ask what it's all about. A sure-fire but expensive method to get e-gold more widely accepted is the PayPal model: offer a $5 sign up bonus for new accounts, as well as $5 to the referrer. A sure-fire but expensive method to get e-gold more widely accepted is the PayPal model: offer a $5 sign up bonus for new accounts, as well as $5 to the referrer. The only way they can do that is because they earn interest on the float, not to mention freezing everyone's account so they can't withdraw anything. e-gold doesn't earn interest on anything. The only profit e-gold makes is selling the gold for more than they buy it, and a small storage fee. [e-gold-list] Re: C'mon guys! OR how to improve your SEX life
The part about freezing everyone's account is the real problem. When they froze my account they refused even to say why it had been frozen (it was frozen at a time when I had not had a single transaction in many weeks and therefore had no transactions to dispute, but when I wanted to withdraw funds it suddenly became a "disputed" account). After a couple of days I received a message saying that the "dispute" had been resolved--but not saying what the imaginary dispute was--and that my account was unfrozen. The mind boggles. PayPal can get away with this because, well, uh, I have no idea why they can get away with this. It lost them my business, but obviously other people still use them. If E-Gold couldn't really make good on its obligations and randomly froze accounts to hide the fact they'd go belly-up in no time. Maybe E-Golders are just smarter! Now what's this about how to improve my sex life? -Original Message- From: Deen Foxx [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, September 27, 2000 8:08 PM To: e-gold Discussion Subject:[e-gold-list] Re: C'mon guys!
